Counting down the days...9 to go

A week from tomorrow I will be heading to Halifax for my birthday celebration, which just so happens to fall on the day before Shannon and I leave for Australia!!!! Actually, we are departing Halifax at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 21st. We have stopovers in Toronto and L.A. and end up in Nadi, Fiji after a 10 hour flight across the Pacific at 5:10 A.M., October 23. We lose the entire day on Oct. 22!! Weird huh. We stay in Fiji until October 29th, so 6 days. While we are there we are taking a tour of the entire main island, Viti Levu. When we land in Sydney we go immediately to the SWAP office, or headquaters, or hostel(something like that). And thats about all we know. What I do know is this...I will be working as little as possible, seeing as much as possible, going to the beach almost everyday, learning how to surf and hopefully becoming kinda good at it, and having the time of my life...avec Shan.
So now all I have to do is wait one more week...well, and a whole bunch of other little things that I need to do before I go.
